Project Description:
GAPA team members negotiated the claim and got funds approved for structure restoration and renovation following sustained fire damage. Prior to restoration services, the apartment building had to be specially cleaned and abated of ACM materials due to hazardous conditions. Due to the hazardous nature of the damaged building, the restoration schedule could not extend to avoid city fines and penalties.

Project Description:
GAPA team members negotiated the claim and got funds approved for full roof replacement and interior renovation/remodel following sustained wind damage. During hazardous materials inspection and testing, it was determined that the ceiling tiles interior to the structure were contaminated with asbestos.
Initially, the insurance agency denied the claim stating that the loss was due to long-term wear and tear. GAPA team members had the decision reversed by conducting numerous inspections which proved new damage had been sustained.
